About Jakob Wissel

On August 22, 1996, Jakob Wissel was born in Ocala, Florida. Jakob Wissel is the son of German immigrant Ditmar Wissel and Linda Wissel. Jakob Wissel has three half-brothers, all of whom have had a significant effect on him. Jakob Wissel attended Blessed Trinity Catholic School from kindergarten through eighth grade. Jakob Wissel played flag football, basketball, ran track, and participated in the Boy Scouts and received his Eagle Scout in 2012. Jakob Wissel grew up in the First United Methodist Church, where he performed in the choir and received the Head Chorister's Medal, as well as serving as an acolyte and crucifer. Jakob Wissel travelled with the church on a mission trip to Peru and another one to Costa Rica. Jakob Wissel worked with the Salvation Army, Interfaith, and Blessed Trinity Elder Care as a volunteer. Jakob Wissel went to Trinity Catholic High School, where he played football, basketball, and track and field until he needed two knee operations. Jakob Wissel began concentrating more on songwriting when he was no longer able to engage in athletics due to knee ailments. He found it to be a useful form of stress reduction. Jakob Wissel graduated from high school with a 4.2 weighted gpa and performed well on his SAT and ACT. Jakob Wissel opted to attend USF in Tampa and joined a fraternity. Jakob Wissel engaged in philanthropies and arranged food and gift drives around the holidays. Jakob Wissel worked as a salesperson throughout college before opting to go to law school. Jakob Wissel received a 52 percent scholarship to law school after scoring in the 80th percentile on the LSAT. Jakob Wissel finished his first year of law school in excellent standing. Jakob Wissel came home to Ocala to assist his old father take care of his mother who had to endure a couple of surgery.
